Here's What We Thought:
Pale yellow in the glass, almost luminous. The nose is all wild Tuscan herbs, lemon peel, and a hint of chamomile and salty coastal breeze. On the palate, it’s light, bright, and gently textured—citrus, green apple, and a subtle savory edge that keeps it interesting rather than simple. Perfect with seafood crudo, grilled white fish, or a simple plate of pecorino and olive oil-drizzled vegetables.
Fun Fact: The grapes for this wine are grown in co-planted vineyards, meaning different varieties grow together in the same field and are harvested as a single blend—an old-school Mediterranean method that Ampeleia revived to better express biodiversity.
