This lovely, savory white opens with aromas of Alpine hay, white stone fruit, rosemary, and hazelnut. Aged in large casks, the fresh, elegant palate delivers ripe apricot, grapefruit, and a dollop of vanilla before a saline finish. —K.O.
What We Thought: Killer white wine for under $30. Tons of tropical fruit on the nose. It leads with some weight on the front of the palate but progresses into a more mellow, soft, restrained transition right up until the finish when the acidity that was on the front reminds you it's still there, hanging on just long enough to contemplate, and then ultimately decide to repeat the process.
