This wine is opulent, with aromas of Blackberry, mulberry, peach, violet, and notes of vanilla cream on the nose. The flavors on the palate are strawberry-cranberry, cassis, black tea, grapefruit zest, interwoven with dried chicory, espresso, and a dry, grippy tannins to finish. What We Thought: Notes of both red and blue fruits frame the nose. A smooth, velvety palate of acai, pomegranate and blackberry fruit along with just the right amount of acid to keep it lively and energetic. Although an easy drinker, it exhibits a bit more depth and complexity than the price suggests.
