This wine is rich and juicy, with aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, cinnamon, potpourri, dried herbs, and vanilla cream on the nose. The flavors on the palate are ripe strawberry raspberry jam, maple, clove, black peppercorn, and a mouthwatering finish. —T.P.
What We Thought: Aromas of black fruit and baking spice on the nose leads to a smooth, full-bodied palate of black cherry and plum fruit accented by spicy notes of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, finishing with very supple tannins.
