Veteran Oregon winemaker David Paige debuts his first releases from his new winery with this tart and tasty Chardonnay. It offers a juicy mix of Meyer lemon, pineapple, crisp apple and white peach. Barrel fermented and aged, it shows a streak of toasted nuts on the finish. —P.G.
What We Thought: A big lemon custard nose leads to a crisp but lightly viscous palate of more citrusy lemon and ripe apple fruit with a nice underlying minerality and a streak of bright acidity to ensure that it pairs well with food... this is classic Oregon Chardonnay..
