This Sancerre is a blend of 3 different terroirs, giving it great texture and amply minerality. The wine displays an exotic nose with a touch of smoke and licorice. On the palate, peach and watermelon dominate with citrus zest and chalk notes. A lovely Sauvignon Blanc!
Here's What We Thought:
Pale straw with a green flash—like sunlight bouncing off wet river stones in the Loire. Fresh lemon zest, grapefruit peel, and a little white flower lift on the nose, followed by that classic Sancerre “crushed flint” snap on the palate. Crisp, clean, and super food-friendly—perfect with goat cheese, oysters, sushi, or even salty fries shared with friends that somehow turn into a second bottle.
Fun Fact: This comes from Sancerre, where Sauvignon Blanc isn’t just a grape—it’s a personality shaped by limestone and flint soils that literally taste like stone and citrus in the glass. 🍋🍷
