Largely Syrah and Alicante Bouchet aged in used French oak barrels. The nose gives red fresh fruit followed by smoky, spicy, and balsamic notes followed by dark berries on the palate. Very elegant. Pair with oven-roasted fatty fish and roasted or grilled red meats, particularly leg of lamb, with a red berry reduction.
