This wine is fresh, lively, with aromas of blackberry, Red currant compote, black tea, dried florals, and vanilla spice on the nose. The flavors on the palate are pomegranate, Bing cherry, strawberry jam, dried fennel, and dry juicy finish. Best Buy. —T.P.
What We Thought: No one will accuse this of complexity, but it checks all the right boxes. Cedar and cassis on the nose, smooth, full-bodied palate, plenty of blackberry fruit, notes of vanilla and a little peppery spice, soft tannins. Check!
