Dried red cherry, rhubarb, and red currant play with hibiscus and rosehip on the nose of this old-vine Grenache. Cherry cola and a dash of thyme open on the attack, while black plum layers in on the midpalate, followed by dried strawberry. The wine completes with a bright, lifted finish. —R.S.
