There was an acute note of freshly cracked black peppercorns in the nose of the 2019 Polígonos. It has a very fine thread, refined tannins, and a lack of fruit, with dry flowers. This is from a place where they struggle to ripen the variety, and the wine is always sharp. Drink 2021-2025. —L.G.
