The very beguiling bouquet “hugs” the olfactory senses with red berry fruit, clove, and pressed rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiseled tannins and perfectly judged acidity. It’s fine-grained Grenache with a little more structure and grip than expected. Yet the harmony comes through here, and it feels very persistent on the finish. Gorgeous. Drink 2024-2040. —N.M.
What We Thought: This has a spicy red cherry, Grenache-driven nose, a clear garnet color, and a delicate light- to medium-bodied palate filled with ripe black cherry fruit and more peppery spice, supported by very supple tannins.
