Fruit-driven yet well-structured and serious. It has notes of red berries, wild herbs, wafers and some baking spices. Medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. A silky core of berries blends with a solid frame of tannins on the palate. Creamy, chocolatey finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
What We Thought: A spicy, brambly, dark fruit nose leads to a very ripe, silky-smooth, full-bodied palate of blackberry and black cherry, finishing with the supplest of tannins. Rhône wines don't get much better than this! This is a very versatile wine that will shine with a wide range of foods. Fresh fruit and polished tannins make it a great addition to these hot summer nights.
