This wine is so good and so pretty, it has to be one of the vintage’s best bangs for the buck. Blueberries and beeswax join with crushed rose petals to create an enticing perfume. The wine’s fresh mouthfeel go hand-in-hand with zippy acidity and tart raspberry and black-tea flavors. Three words—buy a case. —M.A.
What We Thought: This outstanding wine has a big black cherry nose and a smooth, medium-bodied palate of ripe black cherry, vanilla, baking spice, and a touch of black pepper, finishing with very supple tannins.
