All Viognier, the 2023 Côtes du Rhône Les Champauvins Blanc is also beautiful, with juicy citrus and quince-like notes, minty herbs, and mineral nuances. I wouldn't guess Viognier, but I love its overall purity. It's medium-bodied, and it has a gorgeous texture and a great finish.
What We Thought: A dramatic honeysuckle and stone fruit nose leads to a palate that manages to be rich and viscous without being cloying. It's filled with flavors of lemon custard and ripe apricot with notes of orange peel and spice and a clean, bright finish.
