It’s difficult to imagine a more appealing, lavishly oaked wine than this indulgent Cabernet. It packs in super-ripe blueberries, blackberries, and black currants, bracing them with tons of fine-grained tannins and some good fruit acidity. Best from 2028. —J.G.
What We Thought: The nose is classic Napa with notes of cedar, cassis, and a touch of chocolate. The nicely rounded palate is smooth, full-bodied, and filled with ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit, oaky notes of vanilla, and supple but dusty tannins that promise a bright future in the cellar.
