This wine is fresh and zesty, with aromas of strawberry, red plum, florals, and sandalwood. The midpalate has flavors of pomegranate, watermelon, raspberry, and guava interlaced with star anise to finish. —T.P.
What We Thought: This has a dramatic red cherry, black pepper nose, and a smooth, medium-bodied palate of ripe black cherry and black raspberry fruit with a note of vanilla and more peppery spice.
