This is an especially luxurious Albarino. I just love the texture of this wine on the palate. It’s intriguingly complex, with layers on layers of flavors on the palate. A terrific drink on its own, it also pairs well with richer seafood dishes. I really had no idea that Albarino could deliver at this level!
This wine is extremely balsamic and medicinal, with an explosive nose with notes of white flowers, but the nose changes. What impressed me was the seamless structure and the harmony on the palate. It’s titillating, elegant, detailed, and nuanced, with terrific balance. I was gobsmacked! Drink 2022-2027. —L.G.
