What We Thought: Rubio is the introductory-level wine from Poggio San Polo in Montalcino. It is produced from 100% Sangiovese estate-grown grapes from two vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested. Rubio is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The level of quality and care taken produces an exceptional wine at this price point.
