An elegant and enticing red, this features cherry, strawberry, and floral aromas and flavors accented by earth and rhubarb. Firm and lightly astringent on the finish—but food will resolve that. Best from 2023 through 2028.—B.S.
What We Thought: This has a big black cherry nose and an exceptionally smooth, medium-bodied palate of more black cherry and a little plum, along with notes of black pepper and licorice supported by supple tannins and some food-friendly acidity.
