This clonal expression is light and rustic in very delightful ways. Aromas of sagebrush, cranberry, and cracked pepper lead from the nose into a lighter-bodied palate full of herbs and tart red fruits. A great aperitif sip or as a pairing for herb-crusted proteins, from fish to steak. —M.K.
What We Thought: Perfumed floral aromas and bright red cherry frame the nose while ripe, soft black cherry dominates the soft, medium-bodied palate, along with notes of vanilla and black pepper, finishing with subtle acids and soft tannins.
