This is a reliably tropical spin on Chardonnay at each vintage, and this bottling shows ample restraint, starting with tight aromas of jasmine, melon, and pineapple cream. The palate is clean and crisp, though still quite tropical, showing pineapple, mangosteen, and light tuberose flavors. —M.K.
What We Thought: This is a classic oak-driven California Chardonnay with a touch of butterscotch on the nose and a well-rounded, lightly viscous palate of ripe pear, a touch of vanilla, and some pineapple tropical fruit notes.
