What We Thought: This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc shows greater depth and complexity than similar offerings from neighboring producers. This is immediately apparent on the nose, with an explosion of concentrated tropical fruit flavors backed by just the right amount of fresh-cut grass. Grapefruit, pineapple, and melon flavors persist on the palate and are further accentuated with a prickly, tingly acidity. A pleasant mineral streak keeps the fruit focused through to the clean finish.
