A blend of Albariño, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Pinot Gris, this has intense aromas of peach, lemongrass, citrus, honey, and flint, opening to new aromatic nuances with each return to the glass. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with perfumed fruit, loaded with juicy acidity, finishing with a touch of anchoring texture. Drink 2023-2028. —E.B.
What We Thought: A dramatic nose of honeysuckle and ripe pear leads to a big, viscous, oozingly ripe palate of more ripe pear and apricot-influenced stone fruit supported by just enough acidity to make it work. Not necessarily an easy wine to pair food with, but who cares!
