This is a big and rich Pinot Noir with a compelling aromatic combination of blackberries, black tea and violets to go along with loam and worn saddle leather. The wine’s creamy texture is a perfect match for concentrated raspberry jam, dark chocolate, and black coffee flavors. Plush tannins and gentle acidity. —M.A.
What We Thought: This lovely wine has a clear garnet color, a bright red cherry nose, and a soft, almost delicate, medium-bodied palate full of ripe black cherry fruit, along with notes of espresso, chocolate, and a little spice with a smooth finish.
