This is dark-fruited with nut shell and cedar notes. Medium-bodied. Juicy but firm with some chewiness at the end. Barrel Sample.
What We Thought: The Clos de l'Espérance has a rich bouquet of ripe red and black fruit with a touch of vanilla. The palate is robust and full-bodied, with plenty of blackberry fruit and big notes of dark chocolate, finishing with smooth, very supple tannins.
