A fruity and mellow red with raspberries, crushed strawberries, peppercorns, and dried leaves on the nose. Medium-bodied with finely-grained tannins. Textured, with dark cherries and spices in the finish. Drink now.
What We Thought: This easy-drinking fruit bomb opens with subtle aromas of raspberries and a hint of tobacco, followed by red fruit flavors supported by light tannins. It’s not terribly complex but would be good slightly chilled on hot days and pair well with pizza or burgers. It would also be a great base for Sangria.
