On the nose, the wine shows white fruit (peach/pear), Mediterranean herbs (like rosemary and thyme), ginger spice and fine mineral notes, reflecting both fruit intensity and herbal complexity. On the palate, a rich, smooth mouthfeel with excellent expressiveness, layered fruit nuances and subtle herb tones, framed by a lingering, elegant finish that combines freshness with texture from barrel and amphora aging.
For the first time in years, there's a new wine from Clos i Terrasses. And it's a white! ...It has a golden color and a serious nose that's a little different from pure Garnacha, with the classical waxy apples and pollen but a little more exotic and nuanced. The palate is serious and balanced, with a nice texture, dry and chalky with a tasty, focused and clean finish.
Here's What We Thought:
This white is like a “Mediterranean vacation in a glass” — pear, citrus, and mineral notes sparkle with a soft herbal kick. It's fresh, textured, and so enjoyable. Perfect alongside sea bass, lemony pasta, or a light herb salad.🍷
