Offering raspberry, roasted peach, and cantaloupe aromas, this wine is a fruit stand in training. Elegant blackberry, walnut, and orange flavors ride the smooth texture and brisk acidity. Tannins are almost unnoticeable, but who cares? This is a fun wine to quaff. —M.A.
What We Thought: Aromas of black fruits and a little cedar lead to a robust, almost dense, full-bodied palate that is satin smooth and filled with ripe blackberry fruit along with notes of cassis and a big dark chocolate component, with supple tannins that say drink me now.
