I've had several vintages of this wine, and this is my favorite so far. Despite hitting 14.1% abv, it feels light on its feet, with a nice balance between gentle acidity and velvety tannins. Look for aromas and flavors of briary raspberries, graphite, earth, and coffee with cream. — M.A.
An attractively built version, with a vibrant core of acidity and tannins framed by steely flavors of cherry and cranberry, all laced with crushed stone and black tea tones as this finishes with snappy tannins. Drink now through 2032. —T.F.
What We Thought: This Burgundian-styled Pinot Noir shows its French pedigree with a floral nose and a silky-smooth, medium-bodied palate of red cherry and raspberry that displays some light earthy, forest floor notes, finishing with supple but serious tannins that promise improvement in the cellar.
