Rich vanilla bean and cocoa aromas lead to opulent blackberry and black cherry flavors in this lavishly oaked, well-polished, and moderately tannic wine. It will benefit from a few years’ age to let the spicy oak notes mellow a bit. Best from 2025. —J.G.
What We Thought: Wow, this wine has some serious Zinfandel character. Waves of ripe plum and brambly black raspberry flood the nose and palate of this robust, full-bodied Zin finishing long and smooth over very supple tannins.
