The nose offers an array of bright, lifted aromas of mulberries, cocoa, and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with firmly integrated tannins and fresh acidity, showing notes of blood plums, raspberries, dark chocolate, and licorice. Drink or hold.
What We Thought: This easy, drinking, rather unique wine is silky smooth, full-bodied, and filled with ultra-ripe blackberry and tart black cherry fruit along with notes of licorice and touches of black pepper and even cinnamon.
