Ruby-garnet red with slight orange highlights after ageing. An ethereal, wide and embracing nose with scents of rose, violet and soft balmy notes. Dry, savory and harmonic on the palate. Pairs well with red meat, game and cheese.
The Francesco Rinaldi & Figli 2020 Barolo is on the ripe side of the spectrum with dark and sticky fruit. You sense the elegance of Nebbiolo buried within, but it is amply padded by soft raspberry and ripe cherry fruit. The wine ends with a 15% alcohol content and shows good intensity. Fruit is sourced from across Barolo, La Morra and Castiglione Falletto.
This is juicy and tense, with plenty of red fruit, dried citrus peel and floral notes in its character. Medium-bodied with fine tannins that are firm and focused. A crunchy and textural aftertaste.
