Florita’ is Spanish for ‘little flower’. Pristine nose, with white florals, wet river stone and ginger spice all wrapped up in citrus juice. From the second the wine enters the palate, there is a glass rod like precision. Flavours of fresh lime juice, ripe lemon, and Jasmine combine with wet stone minerality. A long and commanding finish.
This is perhaps the finest Florita I can recall. Notes of lime cordial are assuaged by a grind of white pepper, nashi and Granny Smith granita, a lilt of wild fennel and a spurt of gin and tonic with a squeeze of lemon across the endless finish. A Clare Valley thoroughbred built for patience and a dark cellar. Drinkable now, but best after 2028. —N.G.

Crisp, bright, and endlessly elegant — this Riesling zings with lime zest, green apple, and a hint of white pepper, while flinty minerality and wild fennel keep every sip interesting. Pairs perfectly with oysters, fresh seafood, or Thai‑inspired salads, yet holds its own in the glass with structure and finesse. Pure Clare Valley brilliance, bone-dry, and impossibly long‑lived — this is a sipper for now and a cellar star for years to come. 🍋
