This wine is deep, robust, with aromas of blackberry, Blueberry, coffee beans, bittersweet chocolate, toasty oak, and notes of violet on the nose. The flavors on the palate are Mulberry, Olallieberry, grapefruit zest, interlaced paprika, mocha, and a silky dry finish. —T.P.
What We Thought: This big wine has an expressive plum and blackberry nose, and the palate is full-bodied with gobs of smooth, ultra-ripe blackberry and black raspberry fruit, along with a touch of vanilla and dark chocolate with very smooth tannins.
