This is focused, crisp and defined, with black olive tapenade, bright red and black cherry fruit, emerging liquorice character and a suggestion of Tuscan maquis.

The bright ruby 2022 Rosso Di Montalcino leaps out of the glass with poppy lift in its effusive aromas of red cherries and wild red berries, licorice candies, and pressed flowers. Easygoing and approachable although it still has lovely Sangiovese character, it has a delicately juicy feel, with fine tannins, a fresh, balanced level of acidity, and a clean finish.
