Right Hand Man is youthfully gregarious, with intense aromas of cassis, tar, violet, game meat, and cracked pepper. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and fresh with concentrated yet detailed fruits and a long, layered finish. It’s very expressive for this price point and easy to drink! Drink 2023-2028. —E.B.
What We Thought: A complex nose of ripe plum, blackberry, and peppery spice leads to a thick, full-bodied, very ripe, blackberry palate that displays notes of chocolate and some dusty underlying tannins that show up on the finish. This big wine would pair well with any robust food, from ribeyes to pizza.
