This wine smolders with concentrated blackberries, blueberries, and huckleberries that intermingle with orange zest, cinnamon sugar, cardamom, and pomegranate. These give way to bittersweet chocolate, black coffee, and silky tannins. Aerate for an hour. Drink or hold until 2028. —T.P.
What We Thought: A plummy, ripe, "Zinny" nose leads to a thick, full-bodied, blackberry and plum palate with notes of black pepper, licorice, and vanilla, staying smooth all the way through the finish... got BBQ?
