So called because there are so many 'grade: rare' steps connecting the historic centre of Paternopoli to the part that was completely rebuilt after the 1980 earthquake. Pure Greco is matured first in steel and then aged for six months in French oak barriques, creating a fresh and fruity wine, communicative and stimulating.

This Greco di Tufo bursts with peach, lemon zest, and that lovely distinctive Irpinia minerality—like sea spray over warm stone. The palate is juicy yet refined, with almond and a hint of smokiness from its volcanic roots. It stays bright and vibrant—everything you expect from a classy Italian white wine. Pairs perfectly with seared scallops, lemon–garlic shrimp, or a bright caprese and watch it shine!
