Vibrant purple in the glass, this Bordeaux blend is lush and expressive, with notes of black plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, white pepper, and savory spice. Full-bodied and silky, it shows hallmark finesse and a long, lingering finish. Merlot adds richness, Cabernet power, Cab Franc structure, Petit Verdot suppleness, and Malbec color and blueberry. Drink now through 2035 with steak, lamb, duck or rich cheeses.
Aromas of candied cherry, raspberry, mint, and licorice drive the nose of this blend. The palate is chock full of drying tannin, with flavors of plum, cocoa, earth, and violets resonating through the finish. —T.R.C.
