An alluring pale liquid gold shimmers in the glass with abounding aromatics from the get-go. Ripe Meyer lemon, apricot, crème brulée, wet stone, fresh palmier, brioche and a touch of M arcona almond. On the palate, it's deeply layered with notes of lemon custard, white peach and orange pith that ripple across the middle with tension and density. Concentrated through the finish, the wine closes with a touch of praline and mouthwatering acidity.
Lemon peel and light honey aromas meet with hints of flint on the mineral-laced nose of this bottling. Pear flesh flavors are laced in light wafts of barrel smoke on the easygoing palate. —M.K.
Here's What We Thought:
Bright gold in the glass with hints of jasmine and orange blossom on the nose, this Chardonnay greets you with crisp lemon zest and white apricot. Creamy yet bright on the palate, with a subtle touch of acidity. Perfectly balanced, it’s elegant and approachable — delicious with seared scallops, roasted chicken with herbs, or a creamy mushroom risotto, lifting each bite without stealing the show.
