This wine is focused, with aromas of boysenberry, black currant, black licorice, florals, and mocha. Flavors on the palate are blackberry confiture, molasses, lemon-vanilla cream, and allspice, mingled with dark chocolate, espresso, dried cigar leaf, and a dry finish. What We Thought: This robust, inky dark wine is dense, full-bodied, and filled with ultra-ripe blackberry and plum fruit flavors, along with notes of vanilla and bitter dark chocolate, finishing with firm, dusty tannins.
