Blood orange, red cherry fruit, mint, spice, chalk and white pepper all open in the glass. The 70% whole clusters work beautifully with the wine's natural personality. Bright saline notes extend the dynamic finish effortlessly. This is a very, very pretty wine. Drink 2024-2036. -A.G.
What We Thought: Finesse and structure that immediately recalls Burgundy. Its red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry fruit is layered with savory forest floor and a touch of spice, echoing the complexity of a fine Chambolle-Musigny. Silky tannins and a mineral-driven finish underscore its balance, precision, and unmistakably Burgundian sensibility in a California expression.. -Mat McGraw
