On the nose, woody spice and ripe red cherry aromas balance one another nicely. Gentle, very fine tannins are reminiscent of the clay soils that bore the fruit. Its bright red cherry flavors are exuberantly pleasant, but it is neither overripe nor out of balance. An excellent value local Pinot Noir - a phrase we get to say less and less frequently.
Matured in used oak, the 2024 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills is bursting with scents of blueberry, pomegranate, damp earth and mushroom. The medium-bodied palate features generous berry flavors and has a soft, approachable texture. It's balanced by bright acidity and has a long, floral finish.
Here's What We Thought:
Silky and vibrant, this Eola-Amity Hills Pinot hums with sour cherry, wild strawberry, rose petal, and a cool-breeze snap of Oregon forest floor. The palate is bright and smooth—juicy red fruit, savory spice, and fine, tea-like tannins that keep it endlessly enjoyable. Pairs perfectly with duck tacos, mushroom ramen, grilled salmon, or a beet-and-goat-cheese salad with herbs. This is weeknight Pinot with weekend soul—fresh, playful, and built for plates that disappear fast.🍷
