Elegant nose. Citrus and vanilla notes are perceived. In addition there are small ripe red fruits and flint. The taste is pleasant and balanced. The mouthfeel is full and persistent. The tannins balance with the acidic note.
The floral but spicy nose offers rose petals, hibiscus, pomegranate, oregano, sage and thyme. On the palate, a foundation of metallic, peppery earth accentuates that subtle spiciness, while acid shines above firm, structured tannins that give the wine a solid feel. —D.C.
Here's What We Thought:
Vibrant ruby in the glass, this Etna Rosso bursts with wild cherry, pomegranate, and a hint of volcanic graphite, finishing with silky, elegant tannins that dance across the palate. Bold yet refined, it’s like a stroll through Sicily’s volcanic slopes—full of energy, character, and just a touch of mischief. Perfect with: grilled lamb chops with rosemary, Sicilian-style pasta alla Norma, a board of aged Pecorino and cured meats, or a hearty beef stew that can stand up to its volcanic backbone.🍷
