Lots of purple fruit on the nose, along with some fresh-tobacco and cedar undertones. It’s medium-bodied with firm, polished, and lightly chewy tannins. Slightly hollow in the center palate but should fill in with bottle age. Try after 2023.
What We Thought: This is a serious, well-structured Cabernet with a black fruit nose and a medium- to full-bodied palate of black currant and blackberry fruit and notes of licorice and baking spices, finishing supple but very evident tannins.
