There is a Riserva, but the estate’s most representative wine is this very refined Morellino annata, which has enticing fruit, spice, and herbs on the nose, a juicy palate with polished tannins, and a long and fresh finish. Drink 2023-2026. —R.B.
What We Thought: This elegant blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot is a very ripe expression of Southern Tuscany. The smooth, medium-bodied palate is filled with ripe black cherry fruit, notes of vanilla and spice, and a long, supple finish.
