The 2023 Grüner is a pure Grüner Veltliner made in stainless steel aged for five months on fine lees. The fragrant nose has fruit and spice aromas, the latter in a lovely savor that combines conifer with green citrus peel. The palate has a similar stone fruit tone that is unusually rounded for Grüner, shining with peachiness on a smooth, light, mellow body. —A.K.
