What We Thought: This big wine has a black fruit nose and a robust, full-bodied, silky-smooth palate filled with ultra-ripe blackberry and plum fruit and a note of dark chocolate. It finishes with supple tannins and some bright acidity, tasting a little more like Paso Robles or Barossa than Spain.
