A grand, full-bodied red with plenty of structure framing dense, dark fruit flavors and spicy oak accents. Black cherries, dried blueberries, cocoa, and 90% cacao chocolate easily match up to the polished tannins for good balance. Drinkable now, but best from 2030. —J.G.
What We Thought: A classic cedar and cassis nose defines this elegant Bordeaux blend. Full-bodied and filled with robust blackberry fruit along with smoky notes of bacon, vanilla, and tobacco, finishing with supple but serious tannins that ensure a few productive years in the cellar.
