The grapes used to make this dazzler were whole cluster-pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Peach and melon aromas are flanked by notes of honeysuckle and wet slate. Jittery acidity shines a spotlight on rich lemon butter, thyme, and green tea flavors. This is one of the best Pinot Blancs I've had in a long time. —M.A.
What We Thought: Intense floral notes of honeysuckle and violet frame the nose of this elegant wine. The palate is bright and lightly viscous, with flavors of green apple, white peach, and a touch of lemon custard. This wine is refreshing all by itself or perfect with simple shellfish dishes. Don't serve this too cold; the warmer it gets, the richer it tastes, and 50 – 55 degrees would be perfect.
